Blogging again
I have not had the energy for sometime to post anything. There are plenty of stories and pictures that have been missed. But as the end of the school year is less than 50 days away, I have decided that I want to start blogging again. I want to tell the stories that happen, show the pictures that are taken, and share updates about our lives! I want this to be something that one day the kiddos can look at to see about their lives. I have a personal goal for posting. I look forward to keeping notes again!

The Last Week
This is the official last week of summer. Next week, I start another school year. And what a great week it is! The weather is amazing ~ nice and warm (not hot). The kiddos and I are able to play in the backyard and all the windows are open. Noah is loving his ability to explore the outdoors now that he crawls and stands.
This school year I am moving to a new position (in yet another building), first grade! This is an exciting move that I have desired for many years. Setting up a new classroom, with new time limits and expectations, and in a new building is makes me nervous. But I am very excited by this change.
Emma and Payton will begin full day kindergarten at the end of the month. I still can't believe it. They are able to elementary school. It went by so quickly. Noah will go back to our wonderful "nanny", Linda. (I really don't like the word babysitter). He really loves kids and being around others is fun for him. I hope that I am able to be there when he starts walking!!
I hope your end of the year summer plans are exciting and relaxing!!

Welcome to the New Blog
After having a third little pea, I decided that my blog needs a new name. However I loved the look so much, that I had the design updated just a little and moved over here!!
To get things started, I will introduce (or reintroduce to some of you) myself and my pea pod.
I am Kelly. I started blogging a few years ago to help the family stay informed of the happenings way up here in Chi-town. Being a teacher, friend, housekeeper, etc..., I wasn't able to keep up with it as much as I wanted. But I determined now!! Now for my pea pod:
Emma is the oldest twin. She is full of personality and is actually (not just a proud mommy saying this) quite intelligent. Sometimes I forget that she is 5 years old. Her sense of humor is hilarious and she is so thoughtful and giving. She enjoys creating art. Emma was diagnosed with arthritis when she was 3 years old, but is now in remission. Her way of life is so improved. She runs, rides, plays sports ~ I just love watching how she came to life.
Payton is the younger twin. His brown eyes and smile are mesmerizing. He has a contagious laugh and the sweetest heart. He, too, is quite intelligent, but still little boy through and through. He knows all about cars and trucks. He has rhythm and loves to sing & dance. He is a great artist. The first 4 years of his life were spent getting over bronchitis/pneumonia time after time. But the past year he has only been seriously sick one time. I love being able to see him enjoy playing.
Noah is the baby. At 8 months of age, he is perfect blend of his older siblings. He has Emma's blue eyes and body type and Payton's smile and personality. The twins were awesome awesome babies, but Noah is even better. I don't know how it is possible, but it is. Every single person he meets tells me "He should be the Gerber baby" I love everything about him!
I look forward to sharing the adventures of this little pea pod. I hope you enjoy following us!
